Every Day is Tuesday

Every Day is Tuesday

3 August 2021

By David Allen, Development for Conservation

A funny thing happened on my way to post First Thing Tuesday this week…

I guess it was bound to happen eventually, but in 12 years, it hadn’t yet – until this week.

I traveled all day on Sunday and worked the entire way as if it was Monday. Believing it was Monday. So when I got to Enterprise, Oregon, where I have the great privilege to be working with Wallowa Resources, I tried to post the blog from my hotel – and got locked out of the website.

And I got so flustered by getting locked out, that it never occurred to me that I was a day early.

In fact, it didn’t occur to me until another client told me they were surprised by the post.

Go figure.

He suggested that I might need to practice some self-care.

Laughing helped, too.

Otherwise, I’ll be back next week.

On Tuesday.

(Either that, or change the blog’s name to “Some Day This Week.”)

Cheers, and Have a great week!

Hah! Me too, Carol! I panicked for a sec, thinking I’d missed a Monday deadline. David, see how integral your missives are to the rhythms of our lives? Thanks for all your posts.

I have to say it never even crossed my mind that it wasn’t Tuesday….we all need to slow down a little!

When the blog notification popped up in my email yesterday, I was confused and had to double check that is was Monday, not Tuesday. 🙂 Time to stop and do some forest bathing David!
