Testing – Are you getting this?

Testing – Are you getting this?

I did, in fact, post the First Thing Tuesday blog yesterday morning at 6:30 am.

How Much is Efficiency Worth?

But I had SO few readers, that it has caused me to wonder whether everyone got the email notification.

So, this is a test. If you get this one, check and see if you got one from me yesterday. And then let me know, either by commenting on this post, or by email:

David (at) DevelopmentForConservation (dot) com

Maybe it’s a signal to start distrusting my software.

Maybe it’s a signal that I need to work on relevancy. Either way, it’s a signal I need to pay attention to.

I’ll keep this post up for the next several days. Then I’ll take it down. Thank you for your help.

Got it, David, and I, for one, appreciated it very much!

    Hope you’re great!

I received both emails. When it’s a busy week, it sometimes takes me a few days to open and read your email.

I got both yesterday’s email, and the usual Tuesday AM blog post. Thanks for sharing with us!

I received both. I get your email usually just as I’m getting in the car for my commute and it would be great to listen to it while I drive. With other blogs, I use the Apple speak screen feature (https://support.apple.com/en-za/guide/iphone/iph96b214f0/ios) but with your blog it repeats every paragraph twice. Can you fix that on your end? Thank you and keep them coming!

Received both but was surprised that there was no photo or click through to the article yesterday. The article was also dissimilar to your normal format of introducing the theme (or issue), illustrating it and then summing up. I figured you were distracted! Your newsletter insights are valuable and appreciated. I recommend them to our leadership and fundraising team members.

Yes, David, I got the email yesterday and in fact plan to share it more broadly, as I do often with your blogs. Thanks much. And cheers from Iowa! 😉

David, the whole post was included in the body of the email so there was no need to click through to the website.

Received your email from yesterday so no problem in me receiving your emails apparently. Thanks for doing this.

I received it, but the entire text was in the body, rather than redirecting me with a button – maybe that is impacting stats and metrics?

I received it, I read it, and while it depressed me due to lack of capacity, it was a great review of great ideas.

I received both posts as well. And I am glad for this chance to say thank you for giving my team supporting documentation/opinion on the importance of segmentation! We are rolling out a large [for us] annual appeal with just this effort and are anxiously awaiting its performance by December.

David, got it, read it, and forwarded it to our ED to discuss during the Development Committee meeting. Interestingly, the full content was in the email body

I also received Tuesday’s (and read it).

Entire post loaded in my email, no click through to read more button.

This one did, too, for that matter. What’s your open/click thru rates for these emails v. the email you sent last week?

Got it and read it. Perhaps because so many had Monday off, their Tuesday was now their Monday and the universe was upside down. 🙂 Another great article. Thanks.
