Building new fundraising systems, implementing new practices, and/or preparing for major fundraising campaigns can move staff and board leadership into unfamiliar territory. It helps to have a guide. To meet this need for current and former clients, Development for Conservation has added a new service to its portfolio: regular structured telephone coaching related to fundraising activities.

Description of Service

Development for Conservation’s fundraising coaching includes:
• An initial meeting to establish parameters, expectations, and the first set of issues to be addressed through coaching;
• 1-2 telephone or video-conferencing coaching sessions each month, scheduled in advance, and open-ended (within reason); and
• An open-ended agreement with no minimum or maximum number of sessions.

Benefits of Fundraising Coaching

Development for Conservation’s fundraising coaching provides:
1. Strategic assistance in making plans, setting priorities, and sequencing activities for fundraising and donor development;
2. Troubleshooting and problem-solving as unexpected barriers and obstacles to success present themselves; and
3. An additional level of accountability to keep things moving.


The price for the described coaching service is $200/$350 per month for one or two calls per month.
